Well, allow me to introduce myself. I am Melissa Maxwell, a 14 year old high school freshman who attends Rosemont Academy at Oakdell in New York City. Just recently my friends Brad Grayson, Tyler Knight, Valerie Simpson and I went over to this island called the Black Falls island along with our parents for our summer break. There was an amusement park there called The 'Black Falls Amusement Park' and I first thought that everything would have been fun and this vacation and birthday would have been memorable. It certainly HAS been memorable, just not in the way I had imagined. The island and amusement park with its fancy-schmancy resorts had WAY too many deep and dark secrets and yes, it also involves me and the rest of us trying to avoid getting killed and having our souls get stolen. Are we having fun yet? No? Yeah, me neither. I'm getting kind of spooked out here recounting of the ways we avoided getting killed at an amusement park, but, let's get started.
