This book titled Gender, Identity and Caste Politics: A Critical Reading of Indian Writings in English captures the philosophy, essence, and ethos of the subalterns who are subjugated in terms of caste, gender, and class and explores the discourses on caste and gender identity through literary engagement. The twenty-five articles enlisted in this volume present an enriching reading experience in its literary analysis of texts. Most of the articles recorded in this book address issues pertaining to caste-based oppression and marginalization, gender inequality, and emerging Dalit sensibility and resistance.
